I don't even know what to say, biggest win in school history. UNC only team to beat FSU and Miami in ACC. Unfreakingbelievable!!!!!

I'll put it even further into perspective. UNC was missing Isaiah Thomas(best DT), Fred Sparkman(top MLB), Adarius Bowman(top WR), Ronnie McGill(top RB), Jacque Lewis(2nd RB), Hilee Taylor(2nd DE), Edwards(top OLB), and had their 3rd string RB Chad Scott run for 160+ against Miami. Overcame consecutive punts of 18 and 15 yards by UNC's punter, and two scoreless red zone oppurtunities. To top it off, their freshman kicker sealed the win.

Big Ten Standings (just because I like seeing NU in the top half)

1. Michigan 6-0 (8-1)

2. Wisconsin 5-0 (8-0)

3. Iowa 4-1 (6-2) How did this happen?

t-4. Michigan St. 3-2 (4-4)

t-4. Northwestern 3-2 (4-4)

6. Minnesota 3-3 (6-3) shocking that they aren't higher

t-7. Ohio St. 2-3 (5-3)

t-7. Purdue 2-3 (5-3)

9. Indiana 1-4 (3-5)

10. Penn St. 0-5 (2-6)

11. Illinois 0-6 (2-7)

Also, I'm surprised to see that nobody mentioned FSU lost to Maryland. That's gotta knock them out of the national championship picture, but they still have a shot at the ACC because Miami is losing to North Carolina now. UNC has had a brutal schedule. They are actually, to my surprise, a solid team.

Wisconsin is probably #1 until they lose. Big 10 needs to have a title game in case of two undefeated teams.

Since they have 11 teams, maybe change the name to the Big Conference or something. 2 divisions, east and west, championship game at the end.

They'd have to add one more team in order to have the option of a title game.

Why?  They have been practically begged by the Big East and Big 10 to join, and they never have.  It obvious the NBC money and scheduling freedom have trumped everything else.

Yes and NBC will leave soon and once that happens, Notre Dame being independent will come to an end.

ND will never be anything thing else other than Independent. Thats what they have been known for for almost 100 years. They are the most storied team in College football and will always get the recruits they want and the publicity they want. Thats just how it is. Notre Dame will always be competitive. Losing is not an option.

Unless ND starts losing 7-8 games a season, NBC will hold on to the contract. I believe there's a couple of years left and the last time it was up NBC paid more (after one of ND's 'ok' years) b/c Fox made a major bid.

Anybody else completely in shock that Northern Illinois is now ranked? What a load of it. Let's name the quality wins NIU has had this year...oh right they haven't had any. Their losses? Maryland and Iowa St. :puke

Maryland did beat FSU...

Maryland has the best coach in the ACC, but absolutely no QB. They are a good team when they can find a way to generate offense. The ACC is very even outside of Duke. UNC beat Miami, who beat FSU, who smashed UVA, who smashed UNC. Its not Miami-FSU and the 9 dwarfs like everyone thought it would be.
