SoxAce
Jaime is awesome. 3-4 hitting around .390.. one of the many heros tonight. I love Ross. What a grinder.

Like i just said in the game thread, why do people not want him back next year? He has done everything asked of him.

AngelasDaddy0427
I'm just pissed that Ozzie let Grilli go out there in the 7th inning. The kid had just thrown 6 innings and had only given up three runs. Thats a quality start and it would of been a confidance builder, especially considering he was facing the A's. What does Ozzie do though? Sends the kid out of pitch the 7th Ohh well thats my only complaint about this game. Nice win
Rowand44
Like i just said in the game thread, why do people not want him back next year? He has done everything asked of him. I have no clue, he's clutch and he's a very good hitter, just don't play him in the outfield.

Actually he seemed to do a pretty good job playing LF while Carlos was out. I could certainly do without him playing RF too often though. CSF
And best of all, this win was completely manufactured! Not a single homer between the 2 squads. Gload/Burke=quality grinders. Nice.

HighHeat45
I have a winning record for sox games I attended now! Plus I had the best seats ive ever had at a sox game, sec. 133 row 8, right behind home plate it was sweet.
knightni
The video feed had Hawk/DJ play by play Gotta love it! http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/wrapup....t=.jsp&c_id=mlb
CWSGuy406
Let's hope that we look back on this day and say, damn, do you guys realize the start of this was from a very solid start from, of all people, Jason Grilli? I'm not expecting anything, but I'm just hoping and praying that this is a September to remember. This may sound silly, but I was just imagining how pumped Hawk would get if it got down to a one game playoff vs. Minny. Bottom of the ninth - and Paul Konerko hits a homer, a walkoff. Just thinking about the call that Hawk would have on a play like that, it gives me the goosebumps. Dreams, dreams, dreams... :headshake
DBAHO
Didn't expect to read this thread when I came back from homework....Nice. Me either coming back from Uni, and my god a Sox 5th starter from Charlotte actually won a game, I'm truly shocked.
