Gene Honda Civic
There goes Borchard's HR record... Borchard makes Ross Gload look graceful in the outfield. Edited September 2, 2004 by The Cheat

winninguglyin83
whomever recommended giving Borchard a $5.1 million signing bonus has some explaining to do. And, unfortunately, he still works for the Sox. not good
Queen Prawn
Any reason Oz didn't put a pinch hitter in for him?
Guest JimH
borchard might be the worst player i've ever seen. Yet another strikeout. How disappointing. For as pissed as I am that he's not panning out, I do feel bad for the guy. He's trying but he just doesn't have it. At least now they know for sure. Problem is, all the other 29 teams know for sure too. What a disaster.
Hatchetman
why didn't KW sign redman in the offseason? $2million per ain't bad for a .500 type pitcher...
Gene Honda Civic
why didn't KW sign redman in the offseason? $2million per ain't bad for a .500 type pitcher... He was traded to Oakland from florida days before actually becoming a FA -- He was signed the next day.... He was a target of KW, be sure of that. greg775
Who'd a ever thunk we were a 2-man team. We are soooo horses*** without Maggs and Hurt it amazes me. We are one of the worst teams in baseball w/out those 2. We are punchless w/out 'em. How are we gonna re-make this team?

We are one of the worst teams in baseball w/out those 2. We are punchless w/out 'em. How are we gonna re-make this team? Well where would the Red Sox be without Ortiz and Manny? You could do that with almost any team.
POPPY_HIDALGO
The Red Sox without those 2 are still at least a .500 team becuase they have decent starting pitching. They haven't spent the last 2 years looking for a 5th starter who can win more than 3 games a year.
