WHarris1
Why couldn't this team hit like this in July and August :headshake They weren't facing Ryan Franklin and Seattle?
CWSGuy406
Why couldn't this team hit like this in July and August :headshake Yeah, because every night you face a pitcher with a five ERA... :rolly
qwerty
Yeah, because every night you face a pitcher with a five ERA... :rolly They have enough and not done much with it. Just to name a couple remember brian anderson and scott elarton.

qwerty
??? What's your friggin' point? Darrell May is a major leaguer too... Point is they have made s***ty pitchers look great many times this year.
WilliamTell
Sox will win 5-3 tonight. And for now on for the rest of the year, I'm predicting a Willie Harris home run even if he's not playing. YES, I called a Willie Harris home run, I don't have to call one anymore. 2nd time was a charm. Ichiro is 4 for
WHarris1
I love Mark Buehrle. Anyone see that sequence with Ichiro right there?
CWSGuy406
Point is they have made s***ty pitchers look great many times this year. Without their three and four hitters... I was talking about Knuckle's comment of 'Why can't we do this every night?' or something to that effect. When your team is built around the longball, and your best HR hitters are out, you're team is going to be 'off' a lot of nights...

Consistently in the last four years they have not hit really bad pitchers well.
flippedoutpunk
aw they spelled Baj's name wrong on his jersey, poor thing.
CWSGuy406
Consistently in the last four years they have not hit really bad pitchers well. Like I said - they're built around the longball. Hmm - I didn't know Bajerneau (sp?) had an 'H' in his name. Is it Bajenaru, Bajearneau, or Baherhnau?
CWSGuy406
Wow - Ichiro has the most interesting base hits. That one, a high, high chopper over Gload... Damn, he's an awesome player...
WHarris1
8-5, runners on the corner, 1 out.

danman31
Baj needs to learn not to throw a strike every pitch, lol. He was getting ahead in the count and not using it. Hopefully when the catchers learn his stuff that won't be a problem. As of now the run isn't earned because of the error by Willie.
WHarris1
As of now the run isn't earned because of the error by Willie. That was an E? Wow, some guys wouldn't have gotten to it...
danman31
That was an E? Wow, some guys wouldn't have gotten to it... Apparently no, but that should have been an error. That was a slow ball.
CWSGuy406
Apparently no, but that should have been an error. That was a slow ball. Not really, that would have been a very tough play for really any secondbaseman...
