qwerty
You again are wrong ...it is a save, look on-line, it will say it. The sites you provided are incorrect, you(or the web sites) are wrong. heres a link.... http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/recap?gid=240906113 and here is were you are wrong... Shingo Takatsu got two outs for his 17th save in 18 chances. sorry but your wrong. go sox Why does yahoo's boxscore not state that he got a save? No sport site on the internet has a box score that says so.
qwerty
Also after the game during the post game show they never ever mentioned that he got a save and they always do afterwards.
santo=dorf
Shingo Takatsu does infact get his 17th save of the year... A save is when a pitcher ends the game that he comes into, when the tieing run is in the hole. Shingo came in with a 3 run lead, and the tieing run was in the hole, therefore, it is a save The tyipng run has to be on deck. According to mlb.com's stats site, Shingo still has 16 saves. Gameday box score also shows no save recorded. Just saw the highlights on ESPNEWS, no save.
