qwerty
What about Odalis Perez? KW was talking to the Dodgers about trading PK for him back before the season started. I hope KW still has an eye on him for next year. Would be pretty nice to have righty, lefty, righty, lefty, righty.
babybearhater
I wanted him last season, wouldnt mind having him next season, another lefty would be nice to put in that rotation
SoxAce
Odalis Perez in a heartbeat. Garcia-Buehrle-Contreras-Perez-Garland. SOLID.
3E8
Anyways, I don't think he will make it out to FA...I do think the Braves will resign him...but if he did, and we could get him for $4-5 mill, I do think it would be a good signing. A multiyear deal for Wright at $4-5 million per year (realistic) would be a steal.
Iguana
Radke should be #1 on the F/A list. i agree!
qwerty
A multiyear deal for Wright at $4-5 million per year (realistic) would be a steal. Why throw that much money at someone that has never proved they can pitch in the major leagues
babybearhater
man that would be a nice rotation, different kinds of arms too, and a decent age average for them as well. I think ozzie would have an easy time speaking spanish to most of them as well, leaving mark and jon in the dark on that one
3E8
Why throw that much money at someone that has never proved they can pitch in the major leagues We threw more money than that at a guy who had 'proven' himself. That didn't work out too well.

CWSGuy406
If I'm Kenny (which I'm not ), my top three targets, in order, are Pedro, Radke, and Perez. Pedro would bring a true number one to this team - damn, that would be friggin awesome, Garcia as our number three! Radke is an all around solid pitcher - and finally, Perez would give us two solid lefties in the rotation. BTW - maybe this is totally false, but for some reason, I remember seeing on this board, or just hearing somewhere, that Kenny is going to go after Randy Johnson via trade with Arizona in the offseason. Does anyone else remember seeing/hearing this?

Hatchetman
I think wilson alvarez is a FA. i wouldn't mind him as a fifth starter/long man.
qwerty
I think wilson alvarez is a FA. i wouldn't mind him as a fifth starter/long man. He would also be pretty damn cheap for the numbers he is capable of putting up.
toasty
pedro/radke seem to be the only consistent front of the rotation type guys that would be a possibility... that is what KW wants... the rest are middle guys... and kw doesnt want that

orangekrush88
Radke should be #1 on the F/A list. Agreed. He has been killing us for years why not get him. Also this may sound crazy but why not go get Esteban again for a low amount of money. What were his numbers before the tarde. Chicago is different than New York. toasty
IF you want to bring back loaiza, sign him to AAA and let him get it right first

CanOfCorn
Wilson Alvarez would be a fantastic pickup as a spot starter/long man outta the pen...I'm not that enamored with Pedro for this team. ONe thing this team hasn't had in a long time is chemistry and Pedro would not be good for that...although lookin' at that fro every fifth day would crack my ass up!!! qwerty
Thanx to that injury he's pitching with.. If he is injured all he has to do is say you know what i am injured. He has to realize he is not getting a big contract. Hell he is gonna be lucky if he gets a guaranteed contract.

When he was saying this, we were on a playoff hunt, and now he's stuck in one with the Yankees.

If it is affecting him that bad you get the surgery done right away.
mmmmmbeeer
I want Odalis first and foremost. I think he'd be an excellent fit on this team. He's pitching extremely well this season and has done so in the past. He's a competitor, would fit well with the Ozzman.
