WilliamTell
I hope this isn't a problem next year with JC. We can't have inconsistantly like this every few starts.
santo=dorf
Can someone explain to me why Ozzie has so much love for Jose that he has to play a rookie out of position in his major leage debute? THat can SERIOUSLY hurt his moral, even more now that he made an error. Why the f*** is Uribe playing SS? Did Ozzie f*** up on the lineup card? qwerty
And that is why they keep harping on that play. Heck I thought Valdez was up here for his defense? He ain't gonna last long if he can't make the pivot at second base. He should not be playing at second though uribe should.
HuskyCaucasian
Has Ozzie lost it??? THis guy just pitched 6 innings 2 days ago and Ozzie is putting him out there? Ozzie is out of his freaking mind.
WHarris1
He should not be playing at second though uribe should. Position doesn't matter you have to be able to turn a damn play. I bet Aaron could have turned that.
southsider2k5
He should not be playing at second though uribe should. Uribe has a better arm than anyone on this team. That is why he is playing SS. And on that particular play it doesn't matter if you are playing SS or 2B, it is the exact same play either way. You recieve the ball, transfer it, and throw it. It doesn't change at all.

HuskyCaucasian
Jose isn't playing SS, Uribe is my mistake. The point still stands. Dont play a rookie out of position in his major leage debute

Ozzie is out of his freaking mind. Espesially with Munoz and Baj down there who haven't pitched at all. This is the time to get those kids some work. santo=dorf
Did we really fleece the Yankees? Loaiza would've let 8 runs scored on homers not walks or HBP.

Molto
I am not saying for that play. I am saying for his first game in the majors he should be playing his natural position. although everyone here and Hawk is right, I like it how nobody, Hawk included, was wondering why he was playing second prior to that play... qwerty
although everyone here and Hawk is right, I like it how nobody, Hawk included, was wondering why he was playing second prior to that play... When i remembered that his natural position is short i thought it odd that he was playing second but i did not mention it. Why force someone to play a position that hardly ever plays it in their first game ever.

I was thinking the same thing, he should be, the decision to play him at second isn't that inane or stupid. he still should be able to make the play.
