Trainer going to check on Spidale as he hit the wall hard.

Rowand44
Let's trade him for Todd Ritchie..... I like the way you think heads but we might have to throw in Anderson or Sweeney also, to make the deal a little more fair.

HighHeat45
Grand Slam for the Bay Bears :fthecubs
Chisoxfn
They had a 4th inning grand slam which made it 4-1 Mobile Bay. Two outs in the bottom of the 4th right now. Also, they are a Padres affiliate. Josh Barfield hit it. If I recall, Barfield did that against Bmac a couple starts back as well (not the grandslam, but a homer). Chisoxfn
Spidale catches it, but it was hit pretty hard. 4 runs on 3 hits. Bmac has 4 K's through four innings.
WHarris1
Hmm, could BMac be running out of gas? I don't want to have some sort of knee-jerk reaction but these last 2 starts have been very unBMaclike. Maybe we are just spoiled.
Rex Hudler
No, he is just a little rusty on 6 or 7 days rest....... not his normal

Chisoxfn
Barons first baseman didn't cover which led to an error. Then that runner scored on a weak hit single.
danman31
Josh Barfield hit it. If I recall, Barfield did that against Bmac a couple starts back as well (not the grandslam, but a homer). Yep. Good thing the Padres are in the NL so BMac won't have to face him lol. While rust is a good choice, I think nerves may have been a factor. I'm judging this by the leadoff walk. However, he may have gotten over his nerves because he did pitch very well after that until the slam.
SoxAce
Damn I hope Bmac never has to face Barfield again. He's killed him.
