hammerhead johnson
I basically just copied and pasted DBAHO's picks...I think we're on the same page with the very few exceptions. AFC East New England New York Jets Buffalo Miami North Ravens Bengals Steelers Browns South Colts Titans Jaguars Texans West Chiefs Broncos Raiders Chargers NFC East Eagles Redskins Cowboys Giants North Packers Vikings Lions Bears South Panthers Buccaneers Falcons Saints West Seahawks Rams 49ers Cardinals I think that maybe I'm sleeping on the New Orleans Saints. I've read that they suck and also that they're a playoff contender, so I dunno what to think. They always fall apart during the last 1/4 of the season, though. I'm not familiar at all with their defense. And I also think that I'm probably overrating the Redskins. So much talent, so little team chemistry. They need some time to gel. Playoffs: NFC Championship Panthers vs. Eagles Gotta go with the Panthers here because the Eagles always choke in the NFC Championship game. Or maybe they're due to snap out of it? AFC Championship Patriots vs. Colts Of course Belichek always takes out Manning..... I'm looking for a Patriots vs. Panthers rematch, but this time, hopefully, the Panthers will win. Spiff
The Saints might be able to actually accomplish something if Jim Haslett wasn't still coaching them. We'll see though I guess.

I see only witesoxfan and myself have picked the Cowboys to win a wild card instead of the Redskins. No Jansen at RT for them, I think they'll struggle actually. I see only witesoxfan and myself have picked the Cowboys to win a wild card instead of the Redskins. No Jansen at RT for them, I think they'll struggle actually. I just don't see how the Cowboys will get worse. They improve their receiving corps, they improve their running corps, they don't get much worse at QB at the very least(and the fact that Vinny has played in Parcells' system before only helps him), and their defense didn't get worse. I do not think the Redskins have added enough(consider that this team went 5-11 last year, they lost a top 3 CB in the league, and added a HB that could have had his success due to the system he plays in...they added an old QB, though I do like Sean Taylor...who doesn't like Sean Taylor though? Maybe because I haven't seen Gibbs coach I don't know how he coaches...but I just don't think they have improved enough to be a playoff team. I see them as an 8-win team
Spiff
I'll tell you how the Cowboys got worse: Troy Hambrick 275att 972yds 3.5avg Eddie George 312att 1031yds 3.3avg Eddie George is done. D-O-N-E. And Julius Jones can't do it all himself, not this year. The Redskins will suck also, because of the defense. I don't like Sean Taylor, but that's just because he terrorized FSU. Does it tell you sumthin that Troy Hambrick is now with the Arizona Cardinals backing up Emmitt Smith again. Julius Jones and George will rotate the carries nicely, with ReShard Lee and Richie Anderson there as well.

Gene Honda Civic
The Ravens are going to be a lot worse than people are predicting, and the Jaguars are going to be a lot better than people are predicting. Those are my predictions... Oh and the bears will suck, but find a way to be in the "playoff hunt" until at least week 16.
BobDylan
Why isn't anyone giving the Bucs any respect this year? They have one of the leagues best coaches at the helm. Not to mention one of the leagues best D-coordinaters. So they lost Sapp and Lynch? So what? Their offense will be vastly improved behind a still above average defense. I have them in the playoffs, but losing Sapp and Lynch in addition to having an average offensive line and not much at the HB position hurts their chances of advancing through the playoffs. There's no way that they'll have homefield advantage, for one. They might be better than the Packers, for instance, but I don't see them winning a playoff game in Lambeau. And there's no way that they can handle the Eagles in their building. And I doubt that they could win in Seattle. Unless the Panthers fall flat on their faces and Tampa wins that division, I doubt that the Bucs will escape the first round.

danman31
Too many injuries on defense early will kill you guys. Oh really? :rolly 3-0 baby! What a weird ass game today though. Each team had 4 turnovers including multiple in the redzone. 6-3 over the Cardinals is very meh, but 3-0 isn't.
