southsideirish
Would you trade Stephen Jackson RB for the Rams straight up for Tatum Bell RB for the Broncos? I have Quentin Griffin as well so it would definately give me Denver's starting RB for the year. What do you think?
Goldmember
i'd hold on to jackson and see how faulk does this year. besides i think bell won't see much time this year in denver.

CanOfCorn
I wouldn't because I don't think Faulk is going to hold up this year. If you are looking for back up RB's...I would go for DeShaun Foster or Justin Fargas. Just my opinion, though.

If you are looking for back up RB's...I would go for DeShaun Foster or Justin Fargas. Just my opinion, though. Both are long gone. The only reason I even wanted Bell is because he is a back up to Quentin Griffin, who I have. That way I can have the Denver RB. I don't think Faulk will either, but I don't own Faulk and Faulk's O-Line is not really all that great. From what I have heard they are going to need to keep Faulk, or whoever takes his place, in the backfield to help pass protect instead of running routes to receive the ball. You guys think that Quentin Griffin will make it through the entire year healthy? This is the problem, I really don't think that someone his size can. Winning Ugly
http://www.nfl.com/teams/depthcharts/DEN You see Bell down there at #4 on the depth chart? Jackson is #2 and will probably split time with Faulk. He's the REAL DEAL.

Denver released Ahmaad Galloway Link to story Denver also released four draft picks from last year: defensive ends Bryant McNeal and Clint Mitchell, running back Ahmaad Galloway and defensive tackle Nick Eason. But I agree with you nonetheless. I do believe Steven Jackson is more valuable then Bell is.
Goldmember
WHy don't you think Bell will see much time in Denver? YOu think Griffin can hold up? did priest hold up? not saying he will be as good as priest but i think priest should have put aside all worries about size. plus i'm not a big stat person so didn't know where to look this up, but hasn't denver turned out stud backs the last 4-5 years? if you want to get tatum as insurance in case griffin goes down that's understandable but i don't think tatum is going to take over the starting job unless that happens and he'd still have to get past hearst. WhiteSoxFan1
How about this trade? Should I do this.... I trade: Clinton Portis Byron Leftwhich I get: Ahman Green Brad Johnson
AssHatSoxFan
How about this trade? Should I do this.... I trade: Clinton Portis Byron Leftwhich I get: Ahman Green Brad Johnson a few things i think that trade is good especially since ahman is the #3 back overall just ahead of portis and brad should put up better numbers than byron secondly tatum has been moved to #2 on the depth chart now and could be an option later but i still think stephen jackson has a better fantasy value as of right now due to faulk's injury risk but both should start a few games

Priest is 5'9" 213, Griffin is 5'7" 195, seems to be a bit of a difference in size there. Tatum Bell is not listed ahead of Hearst, but come on, does anyone really expect Hearst to be a starting RB anymore? Depth Chart link: Denver Broncos Depth Chart No the Broncos have not turned out stud RBs for the last 4-5 years. They have had a stud RB since 1995, with the exception of 2001 when they used a three headed monster of Davis, Anderson, and Gary: 4 years of Terrell Davis 95-98, 1 of Olandis Gary 99, 1 of mike Anderson 2000, and 2 of Clinton Portis 2002-2003. 1995, 1999, and 2001 were the only years they did not have a back go over 1500 yards. As I said the only reason I would be trading for Bell is so I would have Griffin's backup because I do not feel confident enough in Griffin staying healthy. Shanahan has also used the highest pick, 2nd round 41st overall, on an RB since he has been with the Broncos on Tatum Bell. Do you really think he wants him to sit on the bench all year? This would gaurantee me of having Denver's starting RB, which you can see is a very valuable commodity.
southsideirish
How about this trade? Should I do this.... I trade: Clinton Portis Byron Leftwhich I get: Ahman Green Brad Johnson No that would be very silly for you. Chris Simms will be the starting QB in TB by the 5th game I would say. Brad Johnson will be useless to you this season. Clinton Portis and Ahman Green are very comparable so I don't think you would be gaining much there, if anything at all. Keep what you have. Leftwich is better than Johnson.
jackie hayes
How about this trade? Should I do this.... I trade: Clinton Portis Byron Leftwhich I get: Ahman Green Brad Johnson Gibbs has emphasized how much he's going to run Portis (something like, I'm going to run him so much his tongue will be hanging out), so I think you keep him, as good as Green is. But he's riskier than Green.
