fathom
The Blue Jays signed Catalanotto to a 2 yr, 5.4 million dollar extension today. So much for him on the team next year. Not too upset though, he can't play defense a lick, and we have enough DH.
3E8
I didn't like everyone's love affair with him anyway.

SoxAce
But like Bob said, it can be trade bait.
Gene Honda Civic
It will be interesting to see what happens with Durazo in Oakland... I don't really know his situation, but he's been in the league for 6 years, and doesn't have a contract for next season. I assume he's a FA, if not, I still don't know if Oakland can keep him, he'll be due a big raise. I think it may be a choice of keeping Zito or keeping Durazo. SuperSteve
I didn't like everyone's love affair with him anyway. I agree. I just don't see it. I wouldn't mind as a fourth or fifth OF, but not a everyday player.

I'd love to pursue Durazo, but can he play 1B worth a lick? I'm asking, because I don't watch Oakland too much...

I couldn't tell you -- But I assume he can't play there just because hatterberg takes most of the reps at 1B.
