AngelasDaddy0427
I was just thinking about it. He always was a class act. If he could work to regain form and show some improvment in spring training I say we give him a shot. Of course this is all provided he's willing to play for like 500,000 or less. Would anyone else want to gamble on this?

santo=dorf
Or how about giving $13 to all of the fans on opening day? That's a better way to waste $500,000.

You know, someone good like Keith Foulke.

sox-r-us
What is wrong with that idea? What do we lose? When you have a team that is extremely constrained by a $ cap, you have to get creative and a little lucky to win it all Look at how the Cards are doing with a bunch of players who were injured before (Carpenter) or sucked before in their pitching rotation

The guy just doesn't have it in him anymore, where ever he is I wish him the best because he was a class act but I don't want him pitching for the sox ever again. witesoxfan
i would take him back. he had a 1.50 ERA in August and just looking at the numbers looks he must be throwing better. http://bigleaguers.yahoo.com/mlbpa/players/6218/gamelog His WHIP if 1.60 and he has walked 20 men in 25 2/3 innings...how does that NOT jump out at you and scream "I SUCK!" ? Also, I should add...that is with JUST the Marlins. If he ever comes back to Chicago, I hope he had a red C on his hat.
