mmmmmbeeer
I also though the job they did last night was solid. It was definatley the best broadcast of the year Glad I was stuck with CIRCLEjerkME Bert on extra innings last night. You wanna talk about annoying broadcasters....... Gene Honda Civic
I also though the job they did last night was solid. It was definatley the best broadcast of the year Hawk and DJ came off line whiney losers last night... Stats don't support Hawks claim either -- He was droning on and on about waiting until runners got into scoring position b4 the Twins got a hit... Well the Sox actually hit better than the twins with RISP -- Hawk neglected to mention that.
SoxRox
Hawk and DJ came off line whiney losers last night... Agreed, cheat. This organization needs an overhaul from the minor league teams all the way up. When we get our butts handed to us we need to use that anger to fuel our fire to hustle, not use it as fuel for whining. We need to refuse to be distracted by what opponents might or might not be saying. We need to take responsibility for our own play!
orangekrush88
That's why people who think not resigning Maggs and Jose will solve the Sox problems are badly mistaken. This team should look dramatically different. One thing I noticed w/ Ozzie, as the camera panned to him a number of times during the horrible 6th inning, he was letting the Sox guys' take their lumps, as they were getting embarassed. He's taking notes on who'll be back next yr. Guys w/o heart won't be around. Agree with everything except how will getting rid of maggs help the problem of us not executing and not having heart. Magges was out there giving all he had and executed his part.

We could be looking at Bo Jackson part 2 unfortunately.
greg775
Good stuff, Jim, thanks. Me thinks Hawk and DJ believe Harris can't play. I'd have to agree with them.
winninguglyin83
it's time for the folks in the minor league system to take a hit. They ain't developing players. get some new instructors in A ball. Teach these guys how to run the bases, take leadoffs, bunt, hit the cutoff man, position themselves, pitch inside, go from first to third. We're dreadful in fundamentals -- and have been for too long.
witesoxfan
the marlins were having this problem early in the year and before last year until we got lo duca and pudge. sounds like you guys need a leader... One might say that that is the dumbest idea they ever heard. But I think you're exactly right. Maybe not a leader, so much, but, at the very least, the Sox need a spark of some type. IRod sparked you guys last year, Lo Duca has done a decent job of that this year...Shannon Stewart did it for the Twins last year and this year...improving the defense of the Red Sox, which essentially improves the pitching staff, did it for them. I'm not sure what will spark us like that...but KW and Oz and the rest of the people in the White Sox front office and coaching staff need to figure out what will spark this team. Once they do that, there could be a race down the stretch.
YASNY
So Hawk and DJ are whiney asses. You know what? We also should be whining and screaming and crying and b****ing about this pathetic bunch of losers and chokers we've been saddled with for the last four years. Keep Thomas, Rowand, Buehrle, Garcia and Garland ... then back up the truck.
Gene Honda Civic
They could at least be accurate when they whine... Again today they were trumpeting the Twins as being better at both picking up runners, and pitching over mistakes... Niether is true... Sox bat better W/ Risp and have allowed fewer unearned runs. The Twins do one thing better than the Sox. Win ballgames.
