Sox v Min

...and the rout is on, fueled by more shoddy ( s***ty ) defense...

I logged on late again. Just in time though to see another embarrasing display. The Sox should be ashamed on themselves for setting foot on the same playing field as the Twins. It really pains me to say that...

but it's true.

The best way to showcase Borchard is to sit him.

I think the Sox already know what Borchard can do.  He was quoted in the paper yesterday, still talking about the 505 foot hr.  He said it was a "tremendous glimpse" of his abilities.

Of course we've got the enormous panorama of strikeouts too.

That's real funny. Even people who view life with the rosiest of rose colored glasses should see this guy for the complete and total stiff he is. He may be nice, a hard worker, good student of the game, etc. One thing he ain't and that's a major league baseball player. Not even a bad one. Sox management and Sox fans are just being stubborn about him, deluding themselves into believing in all that potential. In the meantime is anybody watching him? At the plate or in the field? The Twins seem to have an endless supply of young talent. We have Borchard, Crede, Diaz, the departed Rauch and I'll stop here because I think I'm getting sick. KW better work his ever lovin' ass of this winter because as of now we have a bead on 4th place in 2005.
