knightni
I got this idea from the Score. They had a "Cubs MVP" segment tonoight. (I shut it off) Who's your Sox MVP? Oops.. Mark and OTHER got stuck together... Can a Mod delete Mark and just have "Other" there?
danman31
It doesn't matter. No player was valuable enough to win such an award.

WilliamTell
I'm going with Aaron on this. He's also been the biggest surprise and one of the few bright spots on this team in 2004.
greasywheels121
I nominate Dan Pasqua.
BuehrleTheAce
I think Aaron fits better into a "breakout season" type of award. While I love what he's done with the chance he's been given by Ozzie this year, I don't think you can make a claim that he was the MVP. I voted for my namesake of course, but it was a tough call between he and Konerko. Pauly definitely should win Comeback Player of the Year, and he's putting up MVP-like numbers. He really stepped up when we lost Frank and Maggs. Between Paul, Carlos, and Aaron, the loss of our two top hitters was softened quite a bit. And with Frank getting along in years and Maggs more than likely on his way out, I like the prospects of our future without them. Plus with the change in direction the team wants to take, we found a diamond in the rough and got increased value from a player we may end up trading away. southsider2k5
Aaron has had a great season, but realize his power numbers are HALF of what PK has put up. Konerko 4 MVP of the Southside.
greg775
I went with Paulie. Oh what might have been had Maggs and Hurt stayed healthy to go with Lee and Paulie.
knightni
I'm a little surprised that Shingo hasn't gotten at least 1 vote. Yeah, he has given up the gopher ball a few times this month. But, he has been a breath of fresh air in the middle of the staleness that has been the 2004 Chicago White Sox. The Critic
I could hear a pitcher of the year arguement for Shingo, but not MVP. Agreed. Or Sox Rookie Of The Year. But the MVP is Paulie, with Aaron running a close second and Uribe gaining some votes for his early-season explosion.
kapkomet
I pick Konerko just cuz. You did notice that PK sucked balls until you changed your name, don't you? So it's all your fault.

SoxFanForever
I'm not picking anyone because we didn't win anything. This reminds me of the A-Rod MVP on a last place team
kapkomet
That was only to prop up his trade value. BTW, gotta love those Rangers - who have played waaaaaaaaay better without Payrod then with.

NUKE_CLEVELAND
I have to go with Konerko for the simple fact that he's been consistent all year long and is putting up monster numbers in a non-contract year. If that wasn't enough, he has totally shut up all the carping critics who said he was finished after one bad half of a season. WTG Paulie!!!
