Guest JimH
You can't use that 13.5 because we basically conceded a month ago. Sure I can use the 13.5 3E8. Major league baseball does every day, in the standings. That represents fact.
Jordan4life_2007
Are you guys saying that we don't have a chance at the playoffs?
JoshPR
Congrats to the twinks. We're gonna get them next year. Not that they will be any worse. The Sox will just be better. F them, I hope they choke on it

I'm saying we played minor leaguers while Twins stayed extremely competetive the entire time. It's not a good measuring tool by any means. Chisoxrd5
Congrats to the Twins... I dont like them, but i respect how they play the game, stick up for their teammates, develop young players, and yes Ron Gardenhire can coach. Johan Santana and Brad Radke do give this team a good chance to win the ALDS and possibly make it to the world series Santana is on a streak right now that rivals almost any streak a pitcher has had in the last twenty years...He has the confidence and stuff to pitch well anywhere
SoxFanForever
http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/wrapup....t=.jsp&c_id=mlb The White Sox need to burn this into their memory and not let it happen again next year.

I'm mean Santanas has been Lights out, WIth out Santana the Twins are Screwed 20-19, thank you very much I will agree with one thing...had Frank and Maggs not gotten injured, we would not be out of the race. We would still lose the division, but we would be eliminated probably next week and not this week.
greg775
Seriously ... do we all agree Jose V. had a great career here, but Guzman would be a reasonable signing if we are serious about ever winning the fricking division??? Anybody against inking Guzman??

Anybody against inking Guzman?? I am. I'd rather have Uribe start, or for us to sign Vizquel. I'm just not a real big fan of Guzman...he's very streaky. Now, if we're talking about Twins coming over here...I'd rather see Koskie and Radke come over here, and those two might be shown the door. Valentin was great here, but time to move on. this Year Valentin = 1984 Ron Kittle

Vizquel or Orlando Cabrera at SS please, and even though Radke would be nice, I'd rather sign Odalis Perez.

I hope Bajenaru gets a long look/ I wouldn't mind Trying Diaz as the Closer or even Adkins. I know Adkins is comming down here for Winterball. Maybe he can learn a Splitter

Anybody against inking Guzman?? Im against inking anyone, you want to win the division, and content for the Crown????? Dismantle this whole team, lets rebuild our farm system with picks and prospects, get younger, and hope they turn out in five year. Cause at this point, our team doesnt work, we traded a majority of our prospect over the past three years to kill alot of our future. Face it, we are in a deep deep hole, with only one way out, go the other way.

We have to try to win this thing one more year, and come 2006, it will be torn down(or perhaps even before then, if the team is really bad in the beginning of 2005 and they are in selling mode come the ASB). KW and JR have no intentions of tearing the team down at this point, and with good reason. There will definately be a shakeup...but nothing torn down. Anybody against inking Guzman?? Rather write in Uribe as starting SS next year. Just because Guzmen is on the Twins doesn't mean he's good. He has some woes defensivly and doesn't have that great of an OBP. I don't know his avg but I don't think its too high. Give me Radke or another frontline pitcher before anything. We need to get someone that can shut them down anytime like Radke and Santana can do us. They don't have to be the best pitcher available but as long as we beat them everytime he's on the mound is good enough. I am tired of looking at their pitchers and knowing were pretty much toast before the game starts. It would be nice if we had something like that. Think of it this way, we get Radke and that takes away a automatic win from them against us and it gives us a chance against everyone else. After that please look for some bullpen help, its sad to have to depend on the same pitchers everytime we have a game on the line. I also wish Guillen would enforce his "fundamental baseball" play. He's always talking about it but never enforces it, he just lays back and says "that't not how its supposed to be played" or "were not going to win games like that" well do something about it!!! Don't just sit back like a f***in goof. If a player doesn't hussle bench his ass, show them you want them to play the game the correct way. I am just sick of this, the sox have a team to beat anyone but they have no f***in heart. This season is just ugh... :puke :puke :puke

3E8
I'm kind of sick of all this 'rebuilding' talk. We are one free agent away from having arguably the best starting rotation in the American Leauge.

This season is just ugh... :puke :puke :puke Ozzie can't just wave some wand and teach this guys to play fundamental baseball...and he really can't teach them it, because even if he preaches it, some will still not...this team is a power hitting team and is not built to play real good fundamental baseball. You will see more Ozzie type players next year, and this team will slowly be transformed into the team Ozzie wants it to be...or we will have a different manager. So you are telling me that we are one free agent away from having a better rotation then Mulder-Hudson-Zito-Harden-Redman? Hell, Rich Harden would probably be our damn ace...and he may not start in the playoffs for Oakland.
