CWSGuy406
Sprained Knee is the early report Ugh, sprained knee? That's always the first report, then in turns into a tear of the ACL. Let's hope it's 'just' a sprain...
Gene Honda Civic
Ugh, sprained knee? That's always the first report, then in turns into a tear of the ACL. Let's hope it's 'just' a sprain... To me it's a ruse.... I didn't see him carted off the field, so I don't know for sure. It looked like he hurt his shoulder from the way he landed with his arm extended... then when he rolled over he pointed to his chest/shoulder.... As I said I never saw him carted off, but which sounds worse for your quarterback, sprained knee or anything related to his shoulder/throwing arm? The first words he said was... "How is Grossman?" He saw Grossman get carted off the field and saw the fight which was right above him. He also said that place was very loud. The loudest thing he has ever heard.

MurcieOne
It's gonna be a LONG SEASON.... if Brown, Tillman, Azumah, Urlacher, And my favorite player (Rex) since.......... Tom Waddle is sidelined with a serious injury. If he misses next week and takes the bye to get healthy i can certainly do that... but if hes out a long time... this season is gonna be hard to watch. Chisoxfn
One report says it was serious. Grossman's dad is saying Rex felt something pop while going down (it had nothing to do with the hit). I have no idea if this is true though. Its just based on a post at a Bears board claming its up on the Bears Insider on Chicagosports. Right now I'm still going to be optimistic and ifgure he'll be back after the bye week. Gene Honda Civic
He was carted off. Yeah that's definitely a leg injury there... so much for my conspiracy theory.
chimpy2121
i really got a bad feeling that its something with the ACL
fathom
WGN News reported that a Bears source said the injury was a lot more than a sprain. I would be shocked if it's not a torn ACL.
DBAHO
i really got a bad feeling that its something with the ACL I always get the Anterior Cruciate Ligamint mixed up with the Posterior Cruciate Ligamint. Too bad no-one's heard of Osteitis Pubis yet, cos that's a sport injury that regulary occurs down here with sports players now.

MCL is in the middle, fwiw.
The Bones
As I watched the replay, it looked to me like he got hurt before he was down and before he was hit. I have a feeling we're gonna hear more bad news.

EvilJester99
ESPN 1000 reported that Rex could be done for the season. Oh Goody get to watch Quinn the rest of the way. Unless they go make a deal somewhere.
DBAHO
The only FA QB I could see starting for the Bears perhaps is Jeff George, and that's extremely unlikely.
