Soxfest
For a Conference , people say was down 5-0 in 5 games tells me something else, Big Ten is better this year than people gave them credit for. Dayton really looked like they were a 4 seed in a juco tourney.

IlliniKrush
Purdue over higher ranked SEC LSU, blowout! MSU over Big 12 Colorado Indiana over SEC Alabama Wisconsin and Illinois with wins also.... 5-0, i don't like the matchups next round for 3 of the teams, but 5-0 opening round, you both probly expected 1-4, so shut it. YASNY
I don't recall ever saying the Big 10 was down, or the SEC was the toughest conference. If I did, show me and I'll stand corrected. To be honest, I haven't watched much college bball this year, so I don't feel qualified to rate conferences.
Spiff
purdue (3rd in the big 10) versus LSU (6th in the SEC). Michigan State (4th in big 10) versus Colorado (6th in Big 12). Indiana (6th in Big 10) vs Alabama (8th in SEC). Wisconsin barely scrapes by Weber State, who isn't even a mid-major. Oh and Illinois beats Western Kentucky. Wow congratulations Big 10 on winning your mis-matches. Put Illinois against Kentucky or Kansas and see what happens. Or Purdue vs. Georgia or Oklahoma. Wisconsin vs. Florida. Michigan St vs. Oklahoma St. Those would be the even matches, standings-wise. For now they have proven nothing.
YASNY
purdue (3rd in the big 10) versus LSU (6th in the SEC). How in the hell was LSU seeded 8, and Purdue 9?

Big ten 5-0 proves ALOT, there seeds do not meam anything It seems the NCAA selection committee felt the SEC was pretty good if they seeded the 3rd place Big Ten team lower than the 6th place SEC team. Regardless, the Big Ten has had a great first round. Kudos to them.
cwsox
I am a lifetime Big 10 fan as shoudl eb obvious. I am astounded they did a 5-0 in the 1st round. I didn't expect that, and not because I am anti Big 10, guys, I simply didn't think the conferance had a good basketball season over all as opposed to others. So I am surprised but pleased. Always have to pull for the Big 10 teams since it boosts our conferance and may that may it 10-0. The SEC is always over rated in everything, especially basketball and football.
