CWSGuy406
I usually make a couple season-long baseball bets, and this year was no different. This year I took part in two, each consisting of 20 dollars going to the winner. I've already lost in one, but the other one I still have a slight chance in winning. I'll give you the bad bet first. Since Florida and Philly felt like pissing out on me, I'll lose my 'NL East Champ Bet'. I told my buddy that if Atlanta won the NL East, I'd give him 20 bucks, but if any other team won, he'd give me the 20. Well, I'm out on that one... BUT! Hope still remains ! As, I also made another bet, in which I took Garland and Buehrle, counting wins and losses, against Maddux and Wood. Since Garland and Wood are both five-hundred winning %, they cancel out - and, odd enough, Buehrle and Maddux hold the same mark of 15-10. So, not only am I cheering for the Cubs to really tank - I'm hoping that Maddux and Wood, really, REALLY tank it, so I can at least break even at the end of this season. So, Cubs - if you win tonight, at least let the bullpen win it for you, not Maddux. Thanks. LET'S GO REDS AND BRAVES! AND BUEHRLE, AND GARLAND! Oh, yeah - how are your guys' working out, or did ya not make any?

Lookin good on that one.
SuperSteve
Super can't bet on sports which have an NCAA Championship. So he didn't bet. One of his friends, we'll call him Jacque, bet his friend that the Sox will make the playoffs. Jacque's friend had the Cubs making the playoffs. If both make it, both lose. If neither make it, neither lose. Needless to say, those two bet a bit. EDIT: The bets were some of the most embarrising stuff imaginable. santo=dorf
Bet one buddy that the Cubs wouldn't finish .500. Lost $5 Bet another buddy that the Cubs wouldn't finish .500. Lost $20 Bet the same buddy that the Sox would finish at least .500. $20 to win or lose still I need the Sox to finish at least .500 if I don't want to lose $40 to my old roomie. Yoda
My English teacher keeps reminding me that he has a bet with my older brother. He says that if the Cubs win the World Series (Yes... the WS) my brother has to wear a Cubs shirt. Not too bad. :puke
redandwhite
Beginning of the season, I gave my Dad 50 bucks to put on a Red Sox/Cardinals World Series. So if the Red Sox and Cardinals go to the series, I'll treat you all to a White Sox game next season, maybe i'll be everyones hero and use my millions to buy the White Sox from JR. danman31
Made a bet with a friend $1 per Cubs vs. Sox wins, getting spotted 5 games. So if the Sox finish with 83 wins and the Cubs 90, I lose $2. However, I made a bet with a different guy just a few days ago that the Dodgers would make the playoffs. The idiot bet $5 that they wouldn't!
Rowand44
Cheat took Garland Wins vs. Maddux wins -- So did I and I also took cubs vs. sox wins, so my bets sucked this year.
Rowand44
So did I and I also took cubs vs. sox wins, so my bets sucked this year. Ha, I forgot to mention the bet that I won, I had a bet with my history teacher from last year that kid walk a lot wouldn't win 18 games. ZoomSlowik
I also did the Braves would not win the NL East bet, I thought the Phillies were going to smoke the rest of that division. Obviously that isn't working out. I also made a few Cubs/Sox bets(Sox make playoffs, Cubs don't, best record, win cross town series), which aren't going so hot. Not my year. I wanted to bet my friend that Wood/Prior wouldn't combine for 35 wins, but he stalled enough that Prior got hurt, making it a non-bet.
