WilliamTell
I haven't been around in the offseason so I was just wondering how busy this board and others are.
southsider2k5
They stay decently busy. Many people post only during the season, but a pretty big group sticks around and posts all year. During the off season this area pretty much becomes rumor and news central, and then there are the debates for who to get rid of and who to keep. SuperSteve
There is a bunch of offseason talk, then all sorts of other topics. I'll be around again during this offseason, as will many of the other posters. It already seems that alot of the season only posters haven't been here lately. Gene Honda Civic
Baseball never ends... The Playoffs go until November. They drag the post season awards out in December Winter Meetings. Free Agent Signing period. Pitchers and Cathers start reporting in Febuary.

Depends. $15 each for Friday and Sunday. $20 for just Saturday. $40 for the whole weekend. $149 to stay one night at the hotel and get 4 free passes to the fest. $249 to stay the whole weekend at the hotel and get 4 free passes to the fest. One of the fun times of the year because we actually build up some hope for the next season, am I right?
southsider2k5
One of the fun times of the year because we actually build up some hope for the next season, am I right? I think more hope was built in April and May this year. With the lack of big moves, there wasn't a whole lot of optimism as compared to once the season got started. greg775
I remember it staying pretty busy. We all love baseball and the Sox. That's why the last 2 months have been so sad. We've simply had nothing to keep our interest. Cause our performance always had to be hedged by the wondering "what woulda happened had Maggs and Hurt not got hurt?'' I would rather be in it all the way and flame at the end like the Flubs than have this. p.s. I've decided I want the Yanks to sweep the Twins.
