YASNY
Home weekend mid-summer series against Boston and New York. That should help attendance.
WilliamTell
Isn't starting the season at home or something a sin? It seems like every year this team is one of the last to actually start the year at home.
Dick Allen
Home weekend mid-summer series against Boston and New York. That should help attendance. I think it will hurt attendance. Playing the Yankees in April fills the stands on nights when it would usually be a ghost town. If the Sox are in contention, they will draw 30,000 + no matter who they are playing on a weekend in August. Its really too bad the Sox only get 3 home dates against the Yankees each season. That was such a huge rivalry before divisional play. My grandma would never miss a White Sox/Yankees tilt at Comiskey Park.
TLAK
Ticket plans aren't announced until about February but a weekend season package could be very attractive: SEA DET BAL CLE LAD CHN OAK BOS SEA NYY DET ANA MIN 5 of the 8 2004 playoff teams. How high will they jack the Grub, Jankee & BoSox series?
