qwerty
PHILADELPHIA -- Larry Bowa was fired as manager of the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday, a day before the end of yet another disappointing year. The Phillies failed to reach the playoffs for the 11th straight season after coming in as favorites to win the NL East. They were 85-75 when Bowa was dismissed before the night's game against Florida. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1893528

southsider2k5
They need a clamer guy over there, think they have Jerry Manuels number? You joke, but after a manager like Bowa, a guy like Jerry could really succeed there.
Rex Kickass
I was at that game tonight, getting my first taste of Citizens Bank Park. Its a nice place but the food is not so good. I think he should have gotten to at least finish out the season. It's a bit of a black eye for the Phillies locally I think because even though Philly ain't happy with the Phillies, Bowa was still theirs, and the the Phils did get hit hard with injuries this year.
