Heads22
Just wondered where some of you stood.
qwerty
I voted no because i think he can be really really dominate in the pen. Starting i think he would have an era around 5.00-5.50. If he started next year it would also mean we did not pick up a starting pitcher so we could just throw the year away anyway. I honestly think in a full year in the pen he would keep his era around 3.00-3.50 which would be solid.

Rex Hudler
If he earns it, sure.
DBAHO
I don't think he deserves to be back in AAA, should hav some role with the team next season. Probably start him off in the bullpen at first.
SoxAce
Pen is his future I've been saying all along.
Rex Kickass
I think he'd be good as a middle reliever. I do remember seeing him pitch well earlier this year, and I'd love to see that excitement come out of the pen when we're in need of it come 5th or 6th inning. NUKE_CLEVELAND
Most I see him doing is long relief. We all know what happens to him when he starts. Ideeally though Id like to see him in another city.
danman31
AAA would be pointless for him. I would like to see the Sox get another starter (via trade of fa), but if they don't do that I'll happily start Diaz as the 5th. I think our bullpen could use an upgrade, one that Diaz would give if forced there.
Flash Tizzle
For the dignity of White Sox baseball Felix Diaz deserves nothing more than a bullpen role. Under no circumstances would I accept Diaz as a starter unless injuries forced him into the role. Another, I suppose, would be if he stumbled upon greatness and added another 3-4 mph on his fastball. But that would likely occur after a trade to another organization. So no.
Gene Honda Civic
Diaz's role next season should be at 5th starter, or longer relief/mop-up. He has nothing left to prove in the minors. IMO you should ship one of Cotts/Adkins(whoever the organization isn't as high on) to help fill another hole and the very least have diaz take over the role of the one who's gone. YASNY
Diaz's role next season should be, and will be, determined by his performance in spring training. He should be in mix of guys competing for a spot in the rotation or to just make the staff. If he outpitches everyone else, he should be in the rotation. If he sucks, he should be in Charlotte. I don't see the point of this poll.
WilliamTell
I'd prefere him in AAA, I don't think he's consistant enough yet.
danman31
I'd prefere him in AAA, I don't think he's consistant enough yet. That's just foolish. He will get nothing out of being in AAA. At the very least he has to be the garbage guy.

Do you think he'll get more work being a garbage guy? Even if that's true, he better not be a starter next year.
