The Critic
GO REDBIRDS!!!! I've always been a Cardinal fan, plus it has the residual effect of bugging the Cub Cult members at my work!!! Sample conversation from last week: Cub Cult Guy: "I want the Red Sox to win the World Series since the Cubs aren't in it." Me: "I want the Cardinals. They do things the right way - they trade for good players and keep them there." Cub Cult Guy: (angry) "Well, why don't you move to St. Louis, then??" Me: "I said I like the Cardinals, not St. Louis! St. Louis is a HOLE!"

AddisonStSox
I'm happy for the entire Cardinal fan base; They are some of the most well-educated (in terms of baseball) and informed fans in all of baseball. I've always liked that team. Go Cards! Go LaRussa!

SoxAce
Cub fans have to be throwing up seeing the Cardinals this year going to the NLCS, and I doubt they'll choke it up like they did. It's so great!!

Jordan4life_2007
The Cards have to be the heavy favorites to go to the world series. People have been waiting for their pitching to fall off. We're still waiting.

Yoda
The Cardinals will make it to the World Series. Their lineup is scary as hell and the pitching is very good. These guys have what it takes to win it all. BTW, is Carpenter injured? I didn't see him pitch at all in the series or are they just saving him for round 2?
