If you think you may be borderline, pay a lot of attention to filling out everything correctly. If for some reason you are not successful in getting into your 1st Choice, find out about alternate enrollment options. santo=dorf Posted October 11, 2004 Share Posted October 11, 2004 Well, it is the best little community college out there... The best is the first community college in the U.S; Joliet Junior College. It was established in 1901 with six course offerings being held at Joliet Township High School (now Joliet Central.) I went there for a couple of years before transfering to U of I. I didn't know what I wanted to major in, and I saved a ton of money by going there. I also think the teaching methods there were a hell of alot better than U of I. I'm not learning anything here. I went to Daley Community College back in Sept 1994 - May 1996 and then went to UIC. That doesn't count the Daley course I took while in HS.
