CubKilla
The reason the Bears are looking so rosey in the future is the drafts have been awesome. 1W and 4L's is "rosey"? Oh..... I get it..... Lovie to the Bears is gonna be like Ozzie to the White Sox :rolly . Wanna bet the GB Packers make it back to the playoffs before the Bears do? And don't get hoodwinked if the Bears actually win a game or two in the following weeks against powerhouse SF, TB, and WA. Those teams might actually be worse than the Bears. hammerhead johnson
But they're just as bad as the Bears Indeed. Actually, the Bears are worse considering that the Packers still have a healthy offensive line and one of the best running backs in the league. But we are stacked on defense...it's a beautiful thing. Hopefully, all of the key players can stay healthy next year.

Queen Prawn
For the packers to start winning again, they need to get guys that aren't going to fumble every other play, players that can catch, a defensive coordinator that has a clue and start working on finding a new QB. Sorry, but Farve really needs to entertain the idea of hanging up his cleats. Edited October 12, 2004 by Queen Prawn

Urlacher, Brown, Tillman, Ogunleye, Harris, and Briggs? That is one of the best young defensive cores in the league...it's beautiful. I'll take that bet. I'll take that bet. The Bears have had a strong defensive for a few years now. Their problem is finding a QB that has a clue. And they need an offensive line that can stop the opposing defense. Every now and then the offense rocked, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
WSoxShuf
Agreed, I would take that bet in a heartbeat. Packers fans are living in denial right now. Let us compare the future QB- Bears(this is favre's last year, he has no patience for a loser team) RB- Bears, Green is a fumblholic WR- maybe we can get a draft pick, but Walker is a stud oline-PAck entire defense -da bears

A strong defense for a few years now? Yes. A devastating defense? No. That's what we could very well have from 2005-2008. The future is looking good. hammerhead johnson
don't forget Vasher and Tank Those guys are the second tier along with Haynes, Brown, Grey, and Green. Damn are we looking good. And a CB with that 1st round pick in 2005? Ooohhhhh yeeeeaaaahhhh!!

These guys get a WR who is a deep threat (Mike Williams would be a dream) with that #1 pick, the O will actually be pretty dangerous too. Grossman seems to be handling the position well, give him someone to throw to and look out.

I hope the Bears keep losing Grossman to Williams or Braylon or Clayton would look awesome.
The Bones
Good thing Lovie won his personal "LovieBowl" against a garbage GB team or the Bears would be 0-5. Ummmm, the Bears are 1-3, they've only played 4 games. I don't know how the hell they could be 0-5 with a loss to the Pack. Someone really knows their s***. And I would also take your bet that the Bears make it back to the playoffs before the pack. I think the Bears could still finish 3rd in the North even with all the injuries ahead of the Pack. Well when there are only 16 games, one game is important. Ease off on the blasting of another member, CubKilla If you are going to come to a Chicago White Sox board with mostly Chicago fans and defend a rival, take the replies like a man. I'm the one who got blasted for making a one game mistake. I'm not blasting anybody. And I'm not defending anyone, least of all the GB Packers. I just think alot of Bear fans, like alot of White Sox fans..... especially here and at WSI..... need a goddamn wake up call.

SoxFanForever
Packers Fans = Cubs Fans Delusional bones, great comments on the above post. :fthecubs How do you figure Packers fans are delusional? They understand that their team isn't assembled of the best talent right now and are very unhappy with what Mike Sherman is doing. Many people want Bob Harlan to fire him right now. Thank god his contract is up at the end of the year. To compare Cubs fans and Pack fans is just ridiculous. The Pack have dominated their division for the past 10 years. The expect nothing but the best. Pack fans have gone through many crappy years in the 70's and 80's and will not stand for another run like those again. They expect to be competitive at the least. If you think they are delusional and think they are going to win everything then I suggest you check out a pack message board like www.packerchatters.com and see that nobody there is pleased or optimistic about the prospects of the Pack this season.
