AngelasDaddy0427
In my opinion it goes Larkin>>>>>Vizquel.. We don't need Vizquel imitating his good buddy Robbie and becoming lazy. Plus his best years are behind him. At least Larkin would come a few million cheaper. Neither one of them deserve above the league minimum. We would be better off with Uribe at SS and Harris at 2B. If we are going to bother bringing someone from the outside we might as well just get Furcal.

He'll have another solid year at SS for some team this year. Book it.

MurcieOne
I'd rather see Uribe at short than a stop gap.... and a stop gap for who? who's gonna be there after the stop gap is gone... perdo lopez?
Guest JimH
Polanco, to do what, play 2B? He's played very little SS in his career.

A stop gap to see if Uribe is ready to be the full time SS, i.e. can he improve on some things, like plate discipline and situational hitting. But your point is very well taken, it's not as if the Sox have a SS prospect knocking on the door. The best is probably Rob Valido and I would guess he's at least 3 years away.
