Mr. Showtime
Expos now have both Hernandez brothers
Chisoxfn
Livan was one of those guys I would of loved getting. Man, that was a great deal by the Expos.
Mathew
Looks like the 'spos won.
mac9001
Livan is average. He played in the best pitcher's park in the majors and he's still average at best (His road ERA was almost a run higher last season). He'll be very lucky to match his 12-16 record and his 4.38 ERA. But since the 'spos get him for almost nothing and only have to dish out 300K this can only be a good thing for them.
witesoxfan
Am I the only one who thinks Livan is a little older than 28?
Jim Fainter
The guy can sure hit.

Too bad the Expos don't have a prayer of making it to the playoffs because Livan is a different pitcher come postseason.

This is a guy that throws innings, is known to be clutch, and would really fit in great giving Wright time to get healthy and if Loiaza fell back down to earth we'd have tons of depth. Damn, that would of been sweet.
YASNY
The 'Spos will probably move him again at the trade deadline.
