southsider2k5
Every year around this time us Bear fans are talking about getting the #1 pick and then the Bears always win six out of seven after a 1-7 and end up picking 10 or 11. Unless Chad Hutchenson learned a whole hell of a lot, really quick, there is zero hope for this team. They have to have a QB who can throw. Quinn reminds me of Borchard with all of the talent and physical tools, but the elevator seems to be stuck short of the top floor. Krentzel isn't even ready, and that's according to the coaches. This ship is sinking quicker than the Titanic.
Chisoxrd5
WOW....Jonathan Quinn is horrible, terrible and pathetic all in one... He goes from overthrowing everyone in the first half to taking crucial sacks in the fourth quarter....I was watching the game yearning for Jim Miller, Shane Matthews, Chris Chandler, Moses Moreno, Peter Tom Willis, Steve Stenstrom, Dave Kreig any one of them to come out of the crowd to play instead of him. The only bright side he overthrows the recievers so badly the defense can't intercept any passes because they also have no chance in hell of catching the ball. But I'll be optimistic, I'm REALLY starting to like what we have goin on defensively...by next season we will have a dominant D line, solid linebackers and with a healthy secondary.....YES SIR

SoxAce
Is he even worse than.. dare I say.. Cade McNoun?
Chisoxrd5
Is he even worse than.. dare I say.. Cade McNoun? If I completely disregard the fact that Cade McNown is a jackass....He did have way more ability than Quinn...the biggest problem with McNown is that everyone on the team hated him and he thought he was hot s*** when in reality he wasn't very good. At least Cade could/would heave it down field to Marcus Robinson and complete 30% of them, Quinn is a walking incompletion/sack... :puke
Xero
I started the same Jon Quinn sucks club on the bears.com MB and I now have 40 people in, already. Count me in

juddling
you know....when they drafted Krenzel they said one of his pluses was that he has 'big game' experience. Now that Lovie and the boys are 1-4...i think they are all becoming big games. Krenzel probably isn't the answer but like many have already said...it would be hard to do worse than Quinn. Lovie and Shea sticking with Quinn will be like Jaruon and Shoop sticking with that god-forsaken WR screen that never worked. juddling

I'm conifdent that Krenzel knew enough to get rid of the ball... I can not tell you how well he picked up this offense, but it would be difficult to match the suckitude of Quinn out there today. Ohio State probably ran 15 or more 2 minute drills under his direction and came out on top in 90% of those... I know that's not just because of those around him... Krenzel is a winner. Quinn is not. WHarris1
I wish Lovie Smith would realize that Krenzel would do a better job that Quinn. If Quinn starts next Sunday I think I may puke before the game even begins.

Usually they at least make up some BS about how they are learning and close. It wasn't so in Krenzels case.

(Well, almost...) And yes, I was ashamed.
