Garcia - $8 million Thomas - Raise of $2 million Takatsu - Raise of $1,750,000 Contreras - $8 million Garland - Raise of about $500,000 - $1,000,000 Rowand - Likely to be signed to new deal. The linup alone cost about 55M. Assuming that the Sox sign no pitchers(which is something they need to do) the payroll would still be 88M, which is unrealistic. Also we get $2 million next year for Contreras from the Yankees. Rowand is arbitration eligible as is eric byrnes. I have heard that they should both get about the same 1.5-3 million.
