EvilJester99
Smithers will more than likely be the gay character. They have portrayed that a lot over the Simpson's.
Spiff
They already had a gay character.
Queen Prawn
Smithers will more than likely be the gay character. They have portrayed that a lot over the Simpson's. I thought he was already "out?" He's been trying to get into Burns' pants for awhile now, hasn't he?
EvilJester99
Yeah he has been trying to nail Burns for awhile. Last I remember from watching is he kept denying his "true" feelings for Mr. Burns when confronted with it. The only other characters that could possibly be would be Skinner, Moe or maybe Barney...lol If it is a new character it should be quite a show I guess. southsider2k5
They did mention one of Marge's sisters as a possibility.
jasonxctf
didn't Homer live with those 2 gay guys during his fight with Marge?
Soxbadger
There have been plenty of gay characters; The 2 gay guys Homer moved in with when he thought Marge had been regretting their marriage. The guy who said "Zap" and then Homer thought Bart was turning gay. And Waylan Smithers, who in many episodes has been referred to as gay. When I first heard of this my response was Lenny or Carl, which may be the twist. SB
mreye
The guy who said "Zap" and then Homer thought Bart was turning gay. That was the best. Marge was trying to explain to Homer that the guy was gay. She said, "He prefers the company of men." Homer's reply: "Who doesn't?" Classic stuff. AddisonStSox
Its gonna be someone we never expected...that's just how they work. We already known Selma and Smithers are gay.
juddling
I swear i remember reading somewhere that it was going to be either Patty or Selma (Marge's sisters). Can't remember where i saw that though. juddling
juddling
Then again after being married to Selma for an episode it could always be Troy McClure (you may remember him from such health films as 'Croup-The Silent Killer' and 'This Blood's for you'). God i miss Phil Hartman... juddling
santo=dorf
Don't forget Karl (not that black guy) from the episode where Homer gets his hair back. BTW, I heard of this over the summer and when Matt Groening was asked who the gay character would be, he said "Homer."

Chisoxfn
That was the best. Marge was trying to explain to Homer that the guy was gay. She said, "He prefers the company of men." Homer's reply: "Who doesn't?" Classic stuff. That was one of the best episodes ever. Then the gay guy uses the word queer and Homer is like, hey, thats our word for you people and gets all upset, lol. God, the classic simpsons episodes were so great. Too bad the glory years are over.
