AddisonStSox
He was injured that is why he got cut. Not due to him sucking. Um, No. Sorry.
qwerty
COUCH PRE-SEASON Case in point. Please...dude sucks. Get over it. His arm is still injured. Which has made his arm weaker than normal, which is not very good in the first place. I am not even saying that get him i just think he is an upgrade of what we have right now. qwerty
Um, No. Sorry. I am sorry his injury is what contributed to his terrible performance in the pre season. He had to miss 12 practices because his arm is so f***ed up.

I'd love to know...are you familiar with good QB stats and reading offensive football statistics in general?
AddisonStSox
I am not saying he is great. Not at all. But he does not ''suck''. If he doesn't "suck", I have this guy Quincy Carter you might be interested in...by your standards he must be a golden god...we NEED to get him, a definite upgrade. :headshake Nevermind, I forgot he is ont he Jets. SoxAce
I am not saying he is great. Not at all. But he does not ''suck''. A.J., that's what he was advertised to be. If your picked in the first round, you clearly have more potential than the up and comming rounders during your performance in collage. Yes, there's "steals" in draft picks who perform better in the NFL, but guys like Couch, Palmer, Leftwitch, Manning, Vick, Leaf etc.. are/were labeled to be great players. If not, they're bust. Like in baseball, basketball, etc.. (basically every sport)

You make it out like i think he is great, that is not the case. I just don't think he deserves to be called horrible and that he sucks quite yet. In your opinion is a healthy couch better than quinn and krenzel?

Remember...In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. Couch is that one-eyed man. Bust, plain and simple.

Like in baseball, basketball, etc.. (basically every sport) You can be a bust and still have a semi succesful career. Look at michael olowokandi of the minnesota timberwolves. Number one pick of the 1998 draft had all the potentional in the world and he end up averaging 10 points per game and 8 rebounds per game instead of the 20 and 10 he was predicted to average. I have never once heard someone say he sucks. He didn't live up to the potentional but that does not mean he sucks.
qwerty
Couch is that one-eyed man. Bust, plain and simple. Yes he is a bust since he has not put up nearly as good of numbers as he was projected to. But imo he does not suck he is medicore nothing more. At least in this point in his career. I know you do not agree but i really do not care.
SoxAce
You can be a bust a still have a semi succesful career So you actually think Couch has had a successful career? Hell, you think Couch has had a SEMI successful career? Olowokandi is what is called a solid career. Nothing eye popping, just goes about his buisness and puts up solid numbers. That dude on the Wizards... another story. Can't say the same about Couch. Also, Olki wasn't considered to lead his team anywhere. The general calls the shots and is the big accest to the game. QB is a very important position in football, so is a guard for basketball. Why do you think all the teams who are 1-5, 1-6 are bad? They don't have a general eigher offensively or defensively. qwerty
Do you guys consider chris chandler, doug flutie's and others like them careers semi successuful.

He was projected to score 20 points per game, ten or more rebounds, and block around 1.5-2 shots per game. Sad thing for him is he was the go to guy for a few years with the clippers and he only put up decent numbers.
AddisonStSox
I don't know what to say anymore. Semi-successful? Are you serious? Flutie has been in the league for as many years as you have been on the earth. (Who did he throw his first pass for in the NFL...you guessed it, the Bears) Couch can't hold the jocks of either Chandler or Flutie. Wow. I'm out. SoxAce
Couch can't hold the jocks of either Chandler or Flutie. Wow. I'm out. Ditto. I don't see Couch leading his team to a Super Bowl like Chandler, or beating all the critisism during his career like Flutie. Couch would even be lucky to even play as LONG as the both of them. I'm done with this convo. also. Thanx for playing.

Just because they have been in the league for a long time does not mean they are very good. It means that they have had 1 oe 2 good years through out there careers some bad ones ad alot of medicore ones. Couch's numbers are actually better than both of them that is why i asked. qwerty
Also flutie was so good that he went to canada for eight years. He is way better than couch. :rolly
