jackie hayes
Great, understated catch by Edmonds. Again. Followed by a harsh drive by Manny, hr. Why no game thread yet? It's the World Series, people. Not much baseball left -- it's not the Sox, but ya gotta love the one you're with.
DBAHO
Suppan's pitches so far. Fastball, Fastball, Fastball, Fastball, Fastball, Fastball, Fastball, Fastball.

jackie hayes
Go Cardinals... I'm w/ you on that. But it's getting late in the day... Especially when it's Pedro against Suppan. That's the definition of a mismatch. Pedro walked Walker, but I think he still looks good, he's around the strike zone. He won't give this part of the lineup too much to hit, anyway. Mueller gets another E, c'mon Rolen!
qwerty
Second and third for the cardinals no outs. Would be 1-1 if suppan wasn't the lead base runner.
DBAHO
0 out, Suppan on 3rd, Renteria on 2nd.
jackie hayes
Okay, Cards, line up to smack Suppan on the forehead. What a dumb play.
WHarris1
Terrible baserunning by Suppan.

qwerty
Golden f***ing oppurtunity wasted by the cardinals right there. Seems to be something the white sox would do.
DBAHO
Suppan is out. Not looking good for the Cards right now.
jackie hayes
Funny! Pedro walks. Just throw a damn strike, Kiko.
3E8
I'll bet it's hard for Joe Buck to stay so impartial while watching his Cards fold.
Jordan4life_2007
The Red Sox are on an unbelievable roll. Seems like they're getting every break. The Cards should have scored atleast 3 runs those first three innnings. Oh well. Looks like the Slubs are the league's only "cursed" team. witesoxfan
I'll bet it's hard for Joe Buck to stay so impartial while watching his Cards fold. And Peter Gammons is sticky somewhere. Stop. Don't think about that

DBAHO
Funny! Pedro walks. Just throw a damn strike, Kiko. That was the worst moment if you're a Cards fan tonight, despite the fact you're down 3-0 in this series. An 0-2 count, Pedro's not going to swing, and Calero throws 4 balls. :headshake
witesoxfan
Second i read peter gammons i knew what you were gonna say. :puke It's gross...but sadly, it's probably the truth. Again, don't think about that
Gene Honda Civic
And Peter Gammons is sticky somewhere. Stop. Don't think about that They had him sitting on the baseball tonight set, and he kept sliding of his seat he was so wet. /it was raining. you dirty-minded bastards. The Critic
As poetic as it would be for the Cardinals to come back from 3-0, it's not going to happen. Get used to the following phrase: Boston Red Sox - 2004 World Series Champions Congrats to the BoSox fans on the board - to come back from the near-dead to take it all is an impressive feat, no doubt. NUKE_CLEVELAND
As poetic as it would be for the Cardinals to come back from 3-0, it's not going to happen. That would rock! I know the odds are totally against it happening especially after Boston already doing it but I think I'd probably laugh like a madman for a week straight if it did. southsider2k5
Any more arguements about why people don't want Pedro? It is just the Yankees he can't pitch against. He owns everybody else. He 3 hit the best offense in the NL in their home park. For my money, Pedro is the best pitcher on the FA market.
