AddisonStSox
I've found that Fantasy sports to be the best way to always be interested in sports. This is my second year in fantasy football...I've always done confidence pools...I am in a pool for NCAA football...and I've been a die-hard fantasy baseballer for the past three years. You think it seems like a long time away..? The winter flies by for us. I have no idea how we do it.. but we seem to be more busy from Novermber to March than in the summer. Probably because we plan those 50+ games. We're doing 2 vacations over the next 3 months, and 2 weekend trips to Florida so that makes the time go faster also. The Beast
We better be having a meetup on opening day with a "soxtalk.com" banner and all so I can locate the crew.
The Beast
Screw that. Im not freezing my ass off to see all of you. Defenitly wait till summer to do another tailgate. The Red Sox one was a blast. Yeah, but lets not make it in august...some of us might have varsity football to attend to.
CWSGuy406
Yeah, but lets not make it in august...some of us might have varsity football to attend to. Does that mean you...? Alright, let's plan for the Soxtalk Tailgate in August on a Friday. But seriously, sometime in the summer should be a good time. Definitely not on opening day, though -- like Tony said, it's probably gonna be one cold April 4th...

Sox1422
Little girls... afraid of the cold.. Seriously. Don't you live in Chicago? April is warm in this town. Take your panties off and go to opening day!

I go to opening day every year. This will be my 14th in a row.
Sox1422
I go to opening day every year. This will be my 14th in a row. I am working on a similar streak. Not sure how many in a row, but it has been since I was a kid and Dad would let me ditch school. I would even drive back from WIU to go to Opening day. I should probably try and meet up with some of you soxtalkers for pre-game beers. I am pretty sure I have passed by when you guys tailgate over by gate 2, but I would never be able to recognize anyone. Mike has been trying to meet up with me for a beer for 2 seasons now. The Red Sox one was a blast. How about this crazy idea, multiple tailgates?!?! We tailgated last year for openning day too... 1422 is right, you guys are sissies. Besides the alcohol will keep you warm! And as for my streak this year will be the 11th in a row.
