hi8is
"My thoughts going into (the meetings) are that I'm very happy with the Big Three,'' Beane said. "This rumor stuff is so out of control it's ridiculous.'' put it away and look else where for our starter guys and gals.
SoxFanForever
Because no GM has ever said one thing and done another?
SoxAce
His "thoughts" are that he's happy with the Big Three. (hell who wouldn't be) Doesn't mean we won't listen to offers.

"I'm looking into trading Tim Hudson or Barry Zito. We're not gonna resign Hudson, so we definitely want to trade one of the two..." :rolly

Remember what happened the last time a team said they had to get rid of someone? Montreal ended up with a broken down El Duque, a mediocre Rocky Biddle, and a journeyman 1B/OF type in Jeff Liefer for Bartolo Colon. witesoxfan
Isn't that what I have been saying? No it's not. You've been saying the White Sox have had no shot at getting Hudson Beane said he has no intentions of trading the big 3. And atleast one of those is a lie. CWSGuy406
No it's not. You've been saying the White Sox have had no shot at getting Hudson Beane said he has no intentions of trading the big 3. And atleast one of those is a lie. True -- because no one on this board -- not Knuckle, not anyone -- knows what really is going on inside Billy Beane's head at this point. I'm just saying, you guys (hi8, knuckle) can't say he's not going to trade one of the Three just because of a quote...
witesoxfan
Honestly, if he got good enough offers, it would not surprise me if he traded 2 of the big 3.
Dick Allen
He'd trade Hudson. He wouldn't trade him for Konerko, though.
