mmmmmbeeer
Has anyone used an Ebay sniper and if so, which have you found to be the best/safest? Got some new shoes I want on ebay but i'd prefer to drop my bid in at the last possible second being there are some other folks bidding. Thanks. Gene Honda Civic
Do a search in SLaP. I know it's been discussed here before.. I'm an eBay virgin though, so I can't really be of any help.
witesoxfan
I usually just do it on my own, personally. Wait till there's about 5-10 seconds left and get the bid in. If you are unfortunate, you will lose...but if not, you can have it. I have no insight on the actual programs themselves though.
AngelasDaddy0427
I don't have time for any of that nonsense. I'm one of the old fashioned people that puts the maximum amount i'm willing to pay and then waits to see if it's enough. If someone wants it worse then that they can have it. Queen Prawn
Brian used it once on some McLaren Capri parts. But he only used it because he knew the other guy that bid on it uses sniper software (Brian got sniped a couple times by him).

The Critic
Snipers suck dick. :fyou but not until there's only 5 or 10 seconds left...
mmmmmbeeer
I appreciate the suggestions. I tried the auctionsniper and haven't won yet, 0-2. The sniping program doesn't offer near the advantage that I always thought it did. Really, it boils down to whether or not your highest bid beats the other guy's. A 5 second lead time through the auctionsniper leaves plenty of time for EBay to up the bid to the highest price available.
