CubKilla
im really glad he will make the team. i think he will do just fine. he has faced some tuff lineups this spring and has done really well. The way Stewart has pitched this spring coupled with the fact that Wright suffered a set back, this decision..... unlike carrying 3 catchers ..... is the right one. Now, let's hope that Josh Stewart proves all the prognosticators right and becomes our new Mark Buehrle
baggio202
wonder if we should start colon opening day to break up the lefties???
Soxfest
He is only going to spot start until DW ready and with days off early that is not much nothing to get to excited about.

Chisoxfn
Right now it appears Stewart is the starter, nothing 100% yet though. I'm hoping the best for Josh. I hope he gets in and never gives up his spot because he pitches so damn well.
Soxplosion
Buehrle Colon Garland Loaiza Stewart That sounds good. Im happy with that rotation. After Rauch failed I was kinda hoping Stewart would make it... And Jas, hes asking you to take the "off the topic description. He put "haas the 5th starter" when he only meant to say "as the 5th starter"...
mac9001
Just think how good the Sox's could be in Wright and Rauch get on a role. Loaiza and Stewart better have there A games, cause they have a lot of competition behing them.
DaSoxRox
I think this was a sound decision.....let Wright get himself back to 100%....there's a long season ahead of us... AS for Stewart, I'm sure he's gonna do a great job, but it'll be interesting to see how JM handles a JoshS who f***s up his first two starts....do they give up and send him packing or does JM fight thru his impatience and let Josh fire a 3-hit shutout on his third start? I've seen many pitchers lose a bunch of confidence being promoted early and not given the chance to develop..(ie: see Jon Rauch)...let's hope that our biggest problem come May is that we've got 6 legit starters and only 5 spots.....because we will be well ahead at that point.....no question... DonkeyKongerko
It's good to see we are a team that rewards a good performance. Josh Stewart definitely earned this one. I was a little disappointed about Joe B. being sent down but we seem to have an excess of outfielders right now.
CubsSuck1
I'm confused.... How will josh stewart start on the 6th if that is the 6th game of the season? Woudnt buehre be pitching on the 6th and stewart the 5th?
whitesox247
Buehrle Colon Garland Loaiza Stewart A month ago, most of us were expecting somedin like Wright, Rauch as the 4/5 starters If Stewart or Loaiza pitches both pitches well, we just might see a trade. I just hope the Sox dont do anything stupid.
