Wong & Owens
I just read an article from him on ESPN.com. I like him as an announcer, but his columns leave a lot to be desired. In his preview of the 2003 season, he thinks the A's, Yankees, and Angels are the top competitors for the AL crown. Well, thanks Joe, you really provided some in depth analysis there. Chisoxfn
Is that all he said? Right now I have a lot of doubt in regards to the Angels. Their staff is pretty banged up and the rotation doesn't look good as of now. Appier blows in my mind.
Soxfest
I am not a fan of his at all, he never tells it like it is unless it is Pete Rose conversation. His announcing is terrible the last few years.
Wong & Owens
No, he went into more detail as to why, but Christ, does anybody need to read another article on why the Yankees, Angels or A's are the favorites to win?
witesoxfan
I kind of like the Angels actually. Their starting rotation is the only thing that could change my mind. KRod is the real deal, Percival is a helluva pitcher, Weber and Donnelly and solid pitchers, and Schow is a pretty good lefty bullpen pitcher(though I'm not sure he's going to be in the bullpen again this year). Their offense hasn't changed at all, and they have a helluva manager in Scoscia. They probably won't win 100 games again....but 85-90 shouldn't be a problem....and I don't see the Mariners really making a lot of noise either. Apparently, Angels, A's, and Yankees fans.
