bulokis, I'm listening to the game through a feed at mlb.com. Just click on "audio" and look for today's games, and click the link (it's a Houston feed, and the announcers are kinda biased, but it's better than nothing).

The Astros lineup is just amazing. Berkman, Bagwell, Biggio, Kent, Hidalgo to name a few. And their pitching is not bad either. That is why I would expect them to make the World Series.

NL West Predictions:

Phillies

Astros

DBacks

Wildcard Braves

Their pitching staff isn't too hot though. Well past Oswalt and Miller who are good.

Nobody else is doing updates. Do I have to do everything around here? :D

Top 8 (I think they said)

Octavio Dotel in for the Astros

- Miles singles to lead off the inning

- Valentin walks on a full count

- Konerko (.287 career hitter and rising :)) loops one into left, it falls. Runners move up 90 feet, and they're loaded with 0 out

- Rios (pinch-hitting for Magglio -- hehe, that won't happen much in the regular season, you can bet the farm on that) bounces into a 4-6-3. Run scores, but there are now 2 down.

- Lee flies out

1 run, 2 hits, 1 walk, 1 left

Astros lead it 6-3

Looks like the Sox are on their way to a loss, but anything can happen. I'm outta here for the night. Later.
