Earlier this season fans threw s*** on the field during a Champions League game in Rome after the ref gave a Roma player a red card. Something hit the ref and it got really ugly, as always. Even now, the mayor of Rome wants the Italian League to move a game to the afternoon because the two teams, both from Rome, are bitter rivals (think Cubs Sox with routier fans).
