Why didn't CPS investigate further? Where the hell was the father? I'd like to know the answers to those 2 questions.. CPS will cite too many cases and not enough case workers. Realistically, we do not have the money and people to protect every child from every danger. There just isn't enough money in the world So all we can do is pray that more parents have a family support network or somehow are stopped before it gets this far. I also notice it seems to happen more in Texas. We had the woman in Houston who drowned her kids, a couple in Brownsville who beheaded their kids, and now this poor young girl.
