To Duke fans: When Coach K retires, you'll be lucky to be in the RPI top 100, because Coach K can flat out coach.

To UNC fans: Roy Williams will do exactly what he did at Kansas, make it to the tourney, some final fours, and then.......nuthin'.

To Illini fans: 39-0!!!

It so great to be a Duke fan because everyone hates you until Duke beats their favorite team and then those fans crawl into their little holes for awhile.

The fact is; is that you would choose JJ Redick over anyone on North Carolina, but you would never admit that. You keep talking about Rashad McCants, but wasn't it JJ Redick who had him locked up for those last seconds, preventing him from getting the ball. it's plain and simple; JJ Redick is a better player then anyone on North Carolina.

I guess North Carolina fans and Duke fans will never agree on anything, and Illinois fans, well, they're enjoying their winning while it lasts.

I guess everyone in the world is stupid outside of duke fans right? Who is projected to go higher in the upcoming drafts? How biased can you get, honestly? Marvin williams, rashad mccants, raymond felton, jawad williams and even sean may are projected to go higher in the nba draft in either 2005 or 2006 than reddick is. If you do not believe me there are several sites that prove me right.

Look at this one comparison to your boy.

Best Case Scenario:

Steve Kerr (Rings Are Rings)

Worst Case Scenario:

Trajan Langdon

Lmfao.

Bottom line you are wrong but will never admit to it.

So JJ Redick can shoot threes. It doesn't make him the best player in the nation.

Butter, why don't you turn your anger into a poem for the rest of soxtalk to enjoy.

Actually, if you ever watched a college basketball game or ever heard anyone talk about JJ Redick, you would have learned or seen that he has become one of the best players in the country at driving to the basket and drawing fouls. Whe he gets to the line, it's automatic. You would have also learned that he has improved his defense dramatically, if you saw the UNC game, you saw that, just ask Rashad McCants.

With a statement like yours above, it shows just how little you know about college basketball, so before you make remarks, think. Should have known, coming from a Illinois fan. By the way, who was the last team to beat Illinois? Just a question.

Hardly, Duke knew the play UNC was going to run and JJ simply didn't go under the pick, just stayed on top, not a great defensive play, just knew what was coming and stayed out.

Please. Redick gets more favorable treatment from the ACC refs than anyone in that conference. He gets away with so many shoulder drops and push offs it's ridiculous. Also, Redick is terrible at creating his own shot from 3 point land.

Redick is pretty good, but he isn't God. Take off the Duke glasses already...wow.

Does anyone think if Michigan St can somehow run the table and win the Big 10 tourney, that they could be a #1 seed along with Illinois?

Oh, we're not going to let that happen. They're losing here in Bloomington, on Sunday. Book it. :P

Big Ten/ACC Challenge to continue through 2010

ESPN.com

ESPN, the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Big Ten have reached a six-year agreement lasting through 2010 to continue the annual interconference Challenge.

The 2005 event will mark the seventh annual matchup between the two conferences. The event will continue on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday immediately following Thanksgiving, with the 2005 Big Ten/ACC Challenge scheduled for Nov. 28-30.

The new format will feature 11 games, an increase from the nine games in the event's previous six years. ESPNU -- launching on March 4 -- will televise the two additional games. ESPN and ESPN2 will televise the remaining nine games.

"This event has become a marquee component of our early-season schedule and the addition of two games for ESPNU is a great enhancement," said Burke Magnus, vice president and general manager of ESPNU. "The first six years of the Challenge has featured many unforgettable matchups involving some of the most tradition-laden programs in all of college basketball. We look forward to many more exciting contests between these two great power conferences."

Since 2000, the two conferences have combined to make 10 Final Four appearances and have captured three of the last five NCAA championships. The Big Ten and ACC rank either first or second in all-time NCAA Tournament bids, victories and Final Four appearances.

"The ACC/Big Ten Challenge is a tremendous event that allows both leagues to showcase its student-athletes, coaches and programs," ACC commissioner John Swofford said. "It is a great early-season boost to college basketball and has certainly grown into one of the premiere events of the season."

The two leagues have also rated first and second in attendance for each of the last two seasons, as the Big Ten has topped the nation in attendance for each of the last 28 years.

"The Big Ten coaches, student-athletes and fans expect this conference to play one of the toughest schedules in the country and this Challenge series represents our commitment to test our teams," said Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany.

That sound like a statement from a person who has never watched a game before.

By the way, my wish is that Duke could be a 16 seed in Illinois' bracket, so finally this "undefeated" team could be put away and everyone will stop talking about them. They deserve it though, it's tough going through the rigors of the Big Ten

no chance they get a 1 seed, maybe they could grab a 2 seed but UNC, Illinois, Arizona, Wake, and Kentucky all have better claims
