Rooftop Shots
Trade Willie Harris for David Ortiz, Keith Foulke, and Bill Mueller. Trade Jon Adkins for Vlad Guerrero, KRod, Chone Figgins, and Garret Anderson. Trade a PTBNL (low prospect) for Alfonso Soriano and Francisco Cordero. Trade $35 for Ramon Hernandez. Trade Jamie Burke for Barry Zito, Mark Mulder, and Tim Hudson. Resign Scott Schoeneweis. Trade Joe Borchard for Octavio Dotel. 1. Soriano 2B R 2. Lee LF R 3. Guerrero RF R 4. Ortiz 1B L 5. Thomas DH R 6. Anderson CF L 7. Mueller 3B S 8. Uribe SS R 9. Hernandez C R Bench: UTL Figgins, 1B/DH Konerko, OF Rowand, C Davis, and OF Everett SP - Mulder L, Hudson R, Buerhle L, Garcia R, Zito L RP - Foulke R, Dotel R, Cordero R, Shingo R, Marte L, Schoeneweis L Got a nice kick out of your quote. Only one problem area. Borchard for Dotel? I think the best we'd get for Borchard is an empty bat rack and a cooler of Gatorade!
DBAHO
Sign one of Jon Lieber, Odalis Perez or Al Leiter to a 2 year deal at around 5 to 6 mil. Sign Nomar for a 1 year $7 million deal, or else, sign Placido Polanco on a 2 year deal. Trade Konerko to Baltimore for Larry Bigbie, Jorge Julio and a prospect. Sign Daisuke Matsuzaka from Japan. Sign Chad Fox to a 1 year deal with an option for a 2nd. Leave one of Burke or Davis as the everyday catcher, and sign a veteran backup like Dan Wilson. AngelasDaddy0427
I just don't like Dan Wilson one bit. If he is on this team then :puke
Butter Parque
I wan to deal with Oakland because I think they have some good chips, but I want Huson the most, and then I want to somehow squeeze Dotel out of them as well. We make him the set-up man and if Shingo falters, then you make him the closer. I would be willing to give up a couple B-level prospects fo him. Chisoxfn
I'd love getting Dotel and Hudson but I don't see how the Sox could do it.
JoshPR
How many times i'm i gonna say Brian Roberts don't got the arm to play short at the ML level.
qwerty
How many times i'm i gonna say Brian Roberts don't got the arm to play short at the ML level. Either does eckstein, but he manages to play it pretty well. No way in hell roberts has a worse arm than eckstein.
NUKE_CLEVELAND
My dream scenario is that JR sells the team to Wayne Hyzenga (butchered spelling I know )...or someone else with money that gives a s*** about winning ball games.... Until something like this happens all the "dream" scenarios are just exactly that.

However, I'm a fan of Mark Cuban

However, I'm a fan of Mark Cuban They did manage to win again since then though. 2 WS titles is 2 more than we've had in the last 80 something years. I dont care if he did build a WS team only to tear it apart the next year. I WANNA BE ABLE TO DIE IN PEACE DAMMIT!......
