Texsox
Michigan and USC are in the BCS by winning their conference. I am predicting that Oklahoma wins the Big 12, leaving Texas a possible at-large. Other potential teams for the two "at large" spots are Georgia and California. California, Georgia, Texas and Utah. The two will probably come from that group.

Right now USC has an automatic for winning the Pac 10 and with West Virginias loss I believe Boston College has also locked up the Big East Then you gotta assume OU will kill whoever they play so they are in.. If Miami loses to Va Tech, then Va Tech is the ACC Champion... and Auburn looks unstopable.. I think its gonna end up.. Orange Bowl (National Title) USC vs. Oklahoma Sugar Bowl Miami Vs. Auburn Rose Bowl Michigan Vs. Cal Fiesta Bowl Utah Vs. Boston College btw, I dont think Georgia has a shot at a BCS bowl anymore, and Texas gets left out depending on their performance against Texas A&M
T R U
Another thing to note... If Texas somehow loses to A&M today... I do believe someone is gonna get screwed over and Boise State will get a BCS bid
kapkomet
Sooo, Texas loses to Oklahoma and gets left out of the BCS. How messed up is that? Watch Iowa State beat Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game (ala Kansas State last year)...
redandwhite
Boston College can lock up a BCS birth this saturday against Syracuse at home! Lets Go Eagles!

Yeah it is messed up, but OU has been the only thing standing between UT and a BCS bowl for past few years now
Palehosefan
Will be very interesting to see if the Longhorns beat A&M, how much of a boost that will give them in the BCS standings. Thats an amazingly tough call to have to pick either Cal or Texas. Both have taken care of business since losing to arch rivals, Texas has faced tougher opponents, but Cal has blown out almost all of their opponents. I'll stick with Cal also. I agree with Man of Steel's picks 100% right now.
Chisoxfn
I'd think as of now it would be Cal/Utah, but a loss by Cal or Texas will likely put Boise State in it with Utah.
Heads22
I'm gonna agree with Cal/Utah. Cal in the Rose Bowl is too tough to pass up and there will be a MAJOR uproar if Utah doesn't get an at-large bid.
greasywheels121
Utah deserves it, but I don't think they're certain. The system's still a joke.
WHarris1
With 4 unbeaten teams and only 2 have a chance to win it all... New system please...
WHarris1
What exactly needs to go down for Boise State to get a BCS game?
southsider2k5
What exactly needs to go down for Boise State to get a BCS game? Texas losing would be the easiest way.
WHarris1
Texas losing would be the easiest way. Alright, would that put them in for sure? Wouldn't the at larges still be Cal and Utah?
Palehosefan
Texas AND Cal would have to lose before Boise State got in. Thank God, Boise would get smashed by Utah.
Chisoxfn
Boise State doesn't deserve a BCS game so I sure as hell hope they don't get one. The BCS sucks ass anyway. Their are better and more deserving teams then VaTech and BC.

Also, Auburn needs to f***ing be in the Orange Bowl.

Palehosefan
Miami is back to their old form after the lapse after UNC beat them. They beat a very good Virginia team and smashed a solid WF team and had their old swagger back. I think they will hold their own with anyone now. danman31
The tough thing is I want to see Boise and Utah play each other on a big stage because it would be cool to see 2 mid major undefeated teams go at it. However, both teams need to prove themselves against BCS conference opposition.
AssHatSoxFan
utah is in the top 6 which means they will get an automatic berth as they have no chance of falling out IF cal or texas loses then boise state could slip in and enter the top 6 ensuring them a berth but then cal or texas would also not have won their conference which means they wouldnt which would make everything an even bigger mess if you got what i asid
AssHatSoxFan
its also wierd that 4 of the top 7 teams in the BCS are not automatically in from winning their conference and such so what does that say about the other conference winners such as the Big East, ACC, and Big Ten winners? All major conf winners get an Automatic bid... which right now sits as USC OU Va Tech BC Auburn Michigan but I think Miami will beat Va Tech, which puts them into it Cal has to be Southern Miss, which shouldnt be hard.. so they are prolly another lock.. That leaves Texas and Utah... and I think they will take Utah... Utah is scoring like 50 ppg and completely destroying teams... Texas on the other hand, has the OU failure hanging over their heads.. and thats why I think they will be looked over
AssHatSoxFan
here's a good link at how Cal could get lost in the bowl shuffle: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?page=roadtobcs/1121 also if BC loses tomorrow Pitt will actually get the Big East bid
