danman31 Posted April 11, 2005 Author Share Posted April 11, 2005 In his Winston-Salem debut last night, Rafael Flores went 4 innings giving up 4 runs (all earned). He pitched 5 shutout innings allowing only 2 hits while striking out 2 and walking 4. Unfortunately he didn't get any run support and received a ND, but the Warthogs won 4-2. danman31 Posted June 3, 2005 Author Share Posted June 3, 2005 Flores in April: 1-1, 3.86 ERA, 21 IP, 14 K, 9 BB, 19 hits, 1.33 WHIP Flores in May: 1-2, 5.58 ERA, 30.2 IP, 19 K, 9 BB, 36 hits, 1.47 WHIP Rafael also made a couple relief appearances in May and it looks like he may have been shifted to the pen indefinitely. He pitched 3.1 innings allowing 3 runs (1 earned) while striking out 3, walking 1, and surrendering 6 hits. His ERA on the season stands at 4.54. danman31 Posted May 13, 2006 Author Share Posted May 13, 2006 (edited) Flores started his 2006 season in Kannapolis last night going 5 innings and getting a no decision. He struck out 3 while walking 2 and giving up 1 run on 2 hits. Update: Flores has made 7 appearances, one start. He doesn't have a decision with a 4.67 ERA. Update 2: He made his first start of the season June 13th for Kannapolis. 5 IP, 4 R, 3 K, 0 BB, 8 hits was good for a win in his first decision of the season.
