Winning Ugly
Brees, Gates and company looking like a baby-version of the Colts offense. The NFL is sleeping on them big time.
AddisonStSox
Absolutely incredible. Congrats man. They have been a lot of fun to watch and it makes me happy to see a Big Ten boy succeed like Brees has. Coach of the year is in the bag. Lets just hope they hang on. Purdue129
It's really great to finally see Drew playing well on Sundays. It'll be interesting to see what the Chargers do with their two QBs at the end of the year. It's also fun to see Nick Hardwick, a rookie from Purdue that I know, get some playing time. He was a walk-on his soph. year and is now playing in NFL.
EvilJester99
Its amazing considering there was a ton of talk about how SD wanted to get rid of Brees and now look at him. SD is certainly one of the biggest surprise teams this season. Congrats to SD fans...wish the Bears were as fortunate lol
Rowand44
I really hope san diego keeps this up, I'm rooting for them, they're a great story and a fun team to watch.
witesoxfan
I thought San Diego was going to be terrible, quite honestly. It truly is amazing what they have done.

qwerty
Since parcells does not seem to be a fan of henson's i can see the cowboys going after brees really hard in the off-season. I know there are already rumors of them wanting him. Anyone else think he will end up there?

T R U
They have to get rid of Brees Rivers makes WAYYY to much money to sit on the bench, Brees will prolly get franchised and traded for a 1st rounder

knightni
Sorry for the bump, but I feel bad that they lost. Kaeding must be sick right now.
danman31
OVERRATED! God the Chargers are so overrated by the media. It's a lovefest with them. Every expert gave the Jets no chance. They also give the Chargers more credit than the Falcons, which is what set me off. Week 6: Falcons 21, Chargers 20.
Goldmember
a game where i didnt mind which team won. tough to lose it like that...
Goldmember
have to say that #50 for the jets should be very thankful they won after he f***ed up at end of regulation giving the chargers the ball back...

DBAHO
QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 06:18 PM) have to say that #50 for the jets should be very thankful they won after he f***ed up at end of regulation giving the chargers the ball back... That would be Eric Barton. Man o' man was he lucky the J-E-T-S pulled out a win in this one otherwise he would have been screwed.
Rex Kickass
This game wasn't about who wanted to win more, but instead who wanted to lose less. I'm just sad because nobody gets to hear the San Diego Super Chargers song now.
The Critic
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 07:11 AM) That would be Eric Barton. Man o' man was he lucky the J-E-T-S pulled out a win in this one otherwise he would have been screwed. He would have HAD to be traded - the fans and writers in NY would have destroyed him. black jack
the better team won. that's twice we beat them in their house this season.
WHarris1
I'm not sure if I would say the better team. They were on an even playing field the whole way. Had Kaeding not missed a moderate FG, who woulda been the better team?
black jack
if barton didn't give them the gift roughing call on 4th down.... well, you get the picture. if kaeding made the kick the better team would've lost.
