You would think that if you had a boat load of money and one of your friends of over 25 years needed a little help you could float them a little cash. It isn't like Barry is exactly starving or anything. But then again, I guess I think a lot different than some professional athletes and actually give a s*** about my friends and people close to me. However if they are "Friends" he could probably help him out if the guy is sleeping in his car as he said. Yeah, I remember hearing that story now that you said it again. I guess it is really hard to really know someone when you have never met or interacted with them. It is always so easy to judge from far away and not take the time to see the real person. I have never met him and probably never will but when you give a little bit of the human side of the guy it almost makes me think he isn't so bad and that he just has a tough shell. Again, I may not care for the way he comes off to the public but when people like you have met him and share the stories with us it makes it easier to understand the guy and what he is actually like. Also, I am sure you are right and his friend was trashy and whatever money he got from Barry he didn't spend it wisely. Obvious by the living in his car and such. Thanks for telling your story again. I've thought some are real jerks and met them and was totally shocked. Also goes the other way.. some you think are real nice are total asses. Which is why for the most part I take the things I read and hear at face value. I don't believe most of what I hear.. and only believe half of what I see. Barry had a definite brain fart on this one.
