southsider2k5
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/...-880301,00.html one snippet that jumps off of the page WHAT'S MORE DIVERSE THESE DAYS — NPR OR PRESIDENT BUSH'S CABINET? Bush's Cabinet. It is ironic that a Republican President has an Administration that is more inclusive and more diverse than a so-called liberal-media-elite network. Rex Kickass
He's got a point there. I like NPR, but there just aren't many African Americans involved - Kojo Nambee, Tavis Smiley and ummmm doesn't Aaron Freeman do the occasional piece for NPR? It's pretty pathetic - but I think its symptomatic of radio as a whole. In the nine years I worked in professional radio, I can count the number of African-Americans that I've worked with on one hand. Which is kinda sad.
