Rangers sign Alomar Jr.

I just heard the interview. They are looking for him to catch 50-60 games. If there #1 goes down, they will not be counting on Sandy for 120 games.

I'll miss him. I always thought he gave 100%, was good to the organization, always fair, nice to fans. I cannot think of anything he failed to do as a good employee. I guess just being good to someone isn't enough to win loyalty in baseball. I guess I wil have to change my profile, Sandy was listed as my favorite Sox player.

Good lucky Sandy.

Love the guy but I just knew for sure that homer he

hit on opening day would be his last of the season.

I think it was probably because he got hurt, but

poor Sandy has no pop left in his bat.

Your post looked like a poem, that and about 5 Millers has inspired me.

Good luck to you Sandy.

It sure was fun.

And you were dandy.

When you could still run.

In day games in Texas.

I hope you do well.

I wish you success-es.

when it's hotter than hell.

You always could please,

And pinch-hit like a pip,

When you still had two knees.

And remembered to zip.

Now its time to thank you,

Not wish you a pox

To bid you fond adieu.

From the fans of the Sox.

God bless Sandy Alomar Jr.

Being a Rangers fan too  I wish they would not have done this in one hand (he's not playing well anymore) but to bring this young team along, I like this move.

But I agree - Sandy as a bench coach in a Sox uni right after the Rangers would be kick ass.
