whitesox91403
His numbers last year were not that bad inb the independent league? I think he still has some wheels left. Would an invite to Spring Training be worth it?
WSFAN35
In a word, No. He might have been a good pickup in Little Big League, but not in real life at this time.

qwerty
No, but i do find it amazing that he hit .281 and had an obp of .462 while stealing 37 bases out of 39 attempts.
greg775
We don't want him. Rock Raines is better.
AddisonStSox
In a word... :puke C'mon, we have to turn the page. So far we have made some nice off-season moves. This would be five steps in the wrong direction. We already have one glorified base-stealer on this team. We all know how I feel about him. AnthraxFan93
his ego is to big.. no way And he is dumb as hell Here a story about him, he never remembers anyones name he has played with So in 2000 while on The MEts, he asks John Olerud why he wears a batting helmet in the field, Olerud tells him why Rickeys responds You know we had a guy in Toronto that does the same thing... FYI that guy was Olerud also

FYI that guy was Olerud also This is more of a correction than a submission. The story about Rickey Henderson asking John Olerud why he wears a batting helmet (included in the Olerud bio, but not Henderson's) never happened. It started as a joke and was spread mainly by a Toronto writer. It has been denied by both players and debunked by several sportswriters. There are enough real Rickey stories out there. This is one of the better ones but it is simply not true. http://www.baseballlibrary.com/baseballlib...rson_Harry1.stm

elrockinMT
We have a ton of outfielders now so why would we need antique Ricky Henderson. He was once a great player, but is not now in any way shape or form what we need.
